    Editorial Policy

    GAMENYX exists to help gamers make smarter, more practical decisions about gaming. Everything in this policy exists to support that goal honestly.

    How we research and write

    Our content is reader-first and practical: we aim for clear, useful guidance over hype. Articles are researched before they’re written, we verify facts against available sources where appropriate, and we try to be accurate about what we do and don’t know.

    Hands-on vs. research-based content

    We distinguish content based on research from content based on genuine hands-on experience. We won’t imply we personally purchased, tested, or used a product or game unless that’s actually true for that specific article.

    Reviews are always based on our own hands-on use of the game or product. Each review states the platform and version we tested, its hands-on scope, and how we got access. If our testing isn’t yet enough for a full verdict, we don’t publish it as a review. The full standard is in How GAMENYX Reviews.

    Product and game claims

    Specifications, mechanics, and factual claims about games or products are based on verifiable information available at the time of writing. We do not fabricate specifications, benchmark results, or capabilities.

    Recommendations

    Where we recommend an approach, setting, or option, that recommendation reflects our own editorial judgment based on the research behind the article and, for reviews, our own hands-on testing — not a commercial relationship. See “Editorial independence” below.

    Updates

    Gaming content can go out of date quickly. When we materially update an article, we update its modification date. A review reflects the version we tested. When a game changes materially, we either re-test and add a dated update note, or label the review as reflecting the earlier version.     AI-assisted workflow

    GAMENYX may use AI tools to assist parts of the editorial process — research organization, outlining, drafting assistance, editing, or general content-production support. AI-generated output is never treated as automatically publish-ready. Every article intended for publication receives human review before it goes live.
