Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
GAMENYX (“GAMENYX,” “we,” “us”) is operated by an individual as a sole operator — not a registered company. This policy explains what happens to information when you visit gamenyx.com.
The short version
GAMENYX does not require an account, does not use a contact form, and does not run any ad network or remarketing on the site. We do use Google Analytics 4 and, if you consent, Google Ads conversion measurement, via Google Tag Manager, to measure how the site is used and how our own ads perform, governed by Google’s Consent Mode — see “Analytics: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Consent Mode” below for what that means before and after you make a consent choice. The only thing our own site code stores about your visit is a single, local browser preference remembering that choice — also described below.
Information we do not collect
We do not operate user accounts, comment systems, or any on-site form. The only way to contact us is by sending an email to [email protected] — anything you choose to include in that email (your address, its contents) is information you’re voluntarily giving us, used only to respond to you, and not added to any mailing list or shared with a third party.
Information handled by our hosting/CDN provider
GAMENYX is a static website served through Cloudflare, our content-delivery and hosting provider. Like any website operator, we rely on our provider to process standard technical request data (such as IP address, request headers, and timestamps) as part of delivering pages securely and reliably. We do not operate a separate server, database, or logging system of our own — this technical processing happens at the infrastructure level, is not used by us for tracking individuals, and is not something GAMENYX itself collects, stores, or has direct access to beyond what our provider’s dashboard shows in aggregate.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect any information you voluntarily send us (for example, by email), but no method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookie consent preference (local storage)
GAMENYX’s own site code does not set any browser cookies; if you accept analytics cookies (see the next section), Google Analytics may then set its own cookies as part of measuring your visit. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept or decline analytics and ad-measurement cookies. Your choice is saved as a small entry (gamenyx_consent, valued granted or denied) in your browser’s local storage — which is not a browser cookie, though it serves a similar on-device purpose, stored only on your device. It is not transmitted to us, is not linked to your identity, and exists solely so the banner doesn’t ask you again on your next visit. Our hosting/CDN provider may set operational or security cookies of its own under certain configurations; see our Cookie Policy for that detail and for full detail on local storage.
Analytics: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Consent Mode
GAMENYX uses Google Tag Manager to load measurement tags, Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used, and Google Ads conversion measurement to see whether visits from our own Google ads lead to a click on a game offer. We do not run remarketing or personalized advertising.
Both operate under Google’s Advanced Consent Mode, which sets analytics storage to denied as soon as the page loads, before you’ve made a choice. While it stays denied — including if you decline, or before you’ve chosen — Google’s tags may still send limited, cookieless measurement and consent-state signals to Google. This is how Google’s Consent Mode is designed to behave, and it does not depend on reading or writing an analytics cookie on your device; see our Cookie Policy for what that distinction means for cookies specifically.
If you accept analytics cookies, analytics storage is set to granted, and Google Analytics may then read and write its own cookies to measure your visit more fully. Accepting also sets ad-measurement consent (ad_storage, ad_user_data) to granted, so Google Ads can record a conversion when a visitor who arrived from one of our ads clicks a game offer, and may set its own conversion cookies to do so. Ad personalization (ad_personalization) stays denied whatever you choose. If you decline, or don’t choose, all advertising consent stays denied. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy; see our Cookie Policy for the cookies involved.
Search
The search feature on this site works entirely in your browser: it downloads a list of published article titles once, then filters that list as you type. Your search terms are never sent to us or to any server.
Affiliate links
Some GAMENYX articles contain affiliate (tracking) links to game offers; see our Affiliate Disclosure. GAMENYX does not add any personal information to these links. When you click one, you leave GAMENYX: the link passes through the affiliate network’s and the game publisher’s tracking services before reaching the game’s store or website, and those services may set their own cookies or record the referral under their own privacy policies. If GAMENYX’s analytics is enabled with your consent, we may record that an affiliate link was clicked (the link address and page), as described above, but not what you do after you leave.
Children’s privacy
GAMENYX is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that we have, we will delete it.
U.S. state privacy laws
Several U.S. states, including California, have their own privacy laws (for example, the California Consumer Privacy Act and its amendments). We have not formally assessed whether any specific state privacy law applies to GAMENYX. What we can describe factually is our current practice: we do not sell personal information, we do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not operate as a data broker. If you believe a specific state privacy law gives you a right relevant to GAMENYX, contact us at [email protected] and we will respond in good faith.
International visitors
GAMENYX is written for a global, English-speaking audience, and we do not exclude, block, or specifically restrict access for visitors from the European Union, the United Kingdom, or any other region. We’ve tried to describe our actual data practices in this policy as plainly and accurately as we can, using cautious, general privacy language rather than region-specific legal terminology. We do not claim certified or complete compliance with the EU/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or any other specific regional privacy framework. If you are visiting from a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights, we will make a reasonable, good-faith effort to honor legitimate requests sent to [email protected], even though we have not built a formal regional-compliance program.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change — for example, if analytics cookies begin being set in a new way, if we add advertising, or if affiliate links or related tracking are added to GAMENYX pages in a way that changes how visitor data is handled — we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above before that change takes effect.
